Nissan Group reports Canadian sales for June 2019

Mississauga, Ont. – Today, the Nissan Group announced total Canadian sales of 14,206 units sold in June 2019, a decrease of 13.0 per cent from 2018. The Nissan Division sold 13,185 vehicles in June, a decrease of 11.7 per cent year-over-year.
The INFINITI Division reported total Canadian sales of 1,021 in June.
Nissan Division highlights:

• The Rogue crossover is Nissan Canada’s best-selling vehicle with sales of 4,364 units in June. This is an increase of 0.5 per cent from 2018.
• The Qashqai compact crossover, Nissan’s second best-selling vehicle in Canada, saw  1,789 units sold in June.  
• June 2019 marks the first full year of availability for the Kicks compact crossover. With 1,495 units sold in June, Kicks is Nissan’s third-best selling vehicle in Canada.
• Sales of the Nissan Micra sub compact car increased by 20.5 per cent in June with 711 units sold.
• NV200 compact cargo van sales were 197 units, up 19.4 per cent, setting a June record.

INFINITI highlights:

• INFINITI’s best-selling vehicle in June, the QX60 seven-passenger luxury crossover, sold 387 units in June.
• The INFINITI QX50 luxury crossover, INFINITI’s second best-selling vehicle in June, recorded sales of 284 units.
• June marked the second-best month of sales so far in 2019 for the Q50 sports sedan, with 222 units sold.
