A Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Sede: Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Prefeitura de Kanagawa, Presidente: Makoto Uchida) adicionará 40 modelos "NISSAN collection" e 42 "NISMO collection" 2024 Outono/Inverno aos produtos originais da Nissan, que estarão à venda em 17 de outubro (alguns produtos serão lançados em horários diferentes).

Os produtos originais da Nissan podem ser adquiridos nas concessionárias da Nissan em todo o país, na Galeria da Sede Global, na Boutique da Nissan em NISSAN Crossing e na Loja Online da Nissan.

Game day in the great outdoors: Nissan Project Trailgater brings tailgating action to the woods

NASHVILLE, Tenn.  No more choosing between following your team and pursuing your love of the great outdoors: Nissan Project Trailgater1 combines a high-tech, outdoors tailgating experience with the off-road capability of the refreshed 2025 Frontier.

This one-off project vehicle will be shown publicly at the 2024 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nov. 5-8, alongside four other Nissan project vehicles to be announced at a later date.

Project Trailgater was built in collaboration with PowerNation TV’s “Music City Trucks.” The build process will be documented in three episodes of the show, releasing in sequence Oct. 14, 21 and 28.  

“Tailgating has been a staple in the sports community for generations,” said Eric Smart, builder and co-host, Music City Trucks. “Combining that with people’s love for the outdoors and Nissan’s decades-long legacy with the off-roading scene makes this a truly one-of-a-kind concept that magnifies the Frontier’s versatility and capabilities.”

Touchdowns between the trees

The Nissan Frontier is designed to enable passionate owners to pursue their hobbies and interests with confidence, and Project Trailgater was created with sports fans hoping to catch the game outside of their living room in mind. Its debut during the heart of the college and professional football season reflects the sports’ continued dominance among TV viewers.

The Project Trailgater concept is perfectly equipped to stream first downs, touchdowns and everything in between with twin 43-inch TVs and a powerful soundbar mounted to a NISMO Off Road overlanding rack in the bed. Accompanied by a folding solar panel, a custom lithium battery pack and associated electronics, plus a Starlink connection, the setup is designed to stream games almost anywhere a satellite or mobile hotspot signal is available.

No tailgate is complete without snacks, and Project Trailgater caters with an integrated Dometic cooler and refrigerator, a fold-out kitchen station and sink, plus a built-in propane grill that folds out from one of the CargoGlide slide-outs on a custom-fabricated hinged mount and fire pit.

Project Trailgater expands on Frontier’s already impressive ability to venture off-road with several NISMO Off Road accessory parts, including a suspension lift kit, forged upper control arms, high-performance rear shocks and front coilovers. The NISMO Off Road accessories catalog also provides 17-inch Axis beadlock capable wheels with Yokohama GEOLANDAR M/T tires, a performance cat-back exhaust, a roof rack and numerous additional lights.

A bold foundation

Project Trailgater is based on the 2025 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X. For the 2025 model year, the midsize pickup was refreshed to enhance its rugged style, add more intuitive technology and enhance its everyday utility. The visual refresh includes a new front fascia and new wheels for the PRO-X/PRO-4X grades, while utility is enhanced with greater availability of the long-wheelbase, 6-foot bed configuration on PRO-4X and SL grades.

The 2025 Frontier also adds a standard telescopic-adjusting steering wheel on all grades and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system for SV grades and higher. Maximum tow ratings increase across all Frontier grades, up to a maximum of 7,150 pounds2.

The PRO-4X grade used as the base for Project Trailgater enables adventure beyond the pavement with all-terrain tires, a locking rear differential, Bilstein off-road suspension components, and an even more rugged appearance with over fenders and Lava Red tow hooks.

New NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network simplifies EV charging on the go

 Nissan Ariya drivers can easily find and pay for charging using the MyNISSAN app, with access to over 90,000 public chargers across the U.S.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Owning and charging a Nissan EV will become simpler and more seamless with the launch of the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network. The new network allows Nissan Ariya and future Nissan EV drivers to use their MyNISSAN app to find charging stations, see real-time charger availability and pay for charging – all in one streamlined experience1.

This enhancement to the MyNISSAN app simplifies EV ownership by consolidating vehicle management and public charging into one app. Users store a default payment method in the MyNISSAN app, then once at a compatible charging station, simply tap an on-screen button to start a charging session within the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network. This new feature will be available to MyNISSAN app users by November 2024.

The NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network encompasses more than 90,000 in-network chargers in the U.S. Charging partners include Electrify America, a leader in EV charging with the most public fast charging stations in the U.S. Additional participating networks include the Shell Recharge branded network, ChargePoint and EVgo networks, with plans to incorporate additional networks in the future.

This functionality is not currently available to Nissan LEAF owners; however they can search charging locations through the NissanConnect EV and Services app.

Launching the NISSAN ENERGY Charge Network is another step by Nissan to improving the customer experience and making EV ownership easier and more convenient. The Nissan's LEAF and Ariya are also covered by the EV Carefree+ customer care initiative.

Additionally, starting later this year Nissan will make available to Ariya drivers a North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter. This adapter will allow Ariya drivers to conveniently charge at compatible Tesla Supercharger locations – dramatically increasing the number of public charging locations available to Ariya. In 2025, Nissan will begin offering EVs for the U.S. and Canadian markets with a NACS port.

EVs are a core part of Nissan's efforts to drive toward a future of more sustainable mobility for all, with The Arc mid-term business plan intending for 16 new electrified models to be launched globally by the end of fiscal year 2026.

Ariya is Nissan's most advanced EV, available with up to 304 miles of EPA-estimated driving range (Venture+ trim)2 and the added confidence and control of available e-4ORCE dual-motor all-wheel drive3. For the 2024 model year, Ariya's starting price was enhanced to $39,5904 to appeal to a wider audience of EV buyers. It was awarded the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK designation5 (vehicles with 63-kWh battery), and its e-4ORCE system was named to "Wards 10 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems" list for 2023.

Nissan Formula E Team unveils updated livery ahead of Season 11

 

PARIS, France – Nissan Formula E Team is excited to unveil its updated livery for the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, with the squad prepared for the first campaign under the new GEN3 Evo regulations.

For the upcoming season, Nissan Formula E Team has opted to continue with its popular cherry blossom livery, which has been a fan-favorite ever since it debuted at the start of Season 9. The pattern is meaningful for the outfit, both as a hint to its Japanese DNA and new beginnings, as well as now being part of Nissan's identity in Formula E.

The Japanese team will be looking to build on a strong Season 10, which saw it finish fourth in the Teams' and Drivers' Championship, as well as third in the newly-established Manufacturers' Championship.

To help the aim of moving further up the grid, Nissan Formula E Team has opted to refresh its driver line-up, with the experienced Norman Nato returning after a season away. Together with Oliver Rowland, who took two victories and five further podiums in an excellent Season 10, the squad now boasts two Formula E race winners. Both drivers possess the knowledge of how to get the most out of their machinery and have a proven track record of helping teams develop their cars. Nato will continue to sport the #17 on his Nissan e-4ORCE 05, while Rowland switches to Nissan's traditional #23.

The new factory is also fully operational ahead of the 2024/25 campaign. The fully Nissan Formula E Team dedicated facility stretches over 2,600 square meters and features a workshop area, simulator, engineering and management offices, as well as display, meeting and multipurpose areas. Located south of Paris, the headquarters is based close to other Nissan sites and its Alliance  partners, ensuring synergies and access to talent, equipment and facilities available within Nissan and the group.

Rowland and Nato will be on track for the first time in an official capacity as team mates at pre-season testing on 4-7 November in Valencia, while Season 11 kicks off on December 7 at the São Paulo E-Prix.

Everything has been running smoothly so far and we're looking forward to getting out on track in Valencia. Oliver Rowland: "It's been good to re-charge after a busy year, but I've still been preparing for Season 11, making sure I'm in good shape both physically and mentally. The location is ideal and it sets a high bar for ourselves, showing our ambition to continue improving and fighting at the front. There are a few areas to get on top of with the GEN3 Evo, including the all-wheel drive technology, but we'll look to iron everything out and be ready to take up the fight from the first race."

Norman Nato: "I'm delighted to be back with team and I already feel comfortable straight away with the car, simulator and staff. The biggest change has been the excellent new workshop, allowing us to prepare and debrief from races in amazing conditions, with the highest level equipment available to us. The updated livery is really cool, keeping our Japanese identity and the fans love it, making us so recognizable on-track. I can't wait to start this GEN3 Evo era in Valencia testing, before heading out to Brazil for the season opener!"

Firstly, Electromin increases their involvement with the team, becoming innovation partner. New Nissan Magnite compact SUV unveiled in India

 

Exports of new left-hand-drive version to start in 2025 to more than 65 markets

YOKOHAMA, Japan – Nissan today unveiled the new Magnite compact SUV in India, where it will be manufactured and sold. The new model combines sleek new styling, innovative technologies, optimum efficiency, and reinforced safety features.


The introduction of new Magnite across Africa, Middle East, and India comes as part of a broad product offensive and Nissan’s move to position India as a manufacturing hub under the Arc, Nissan’s mid-term business plan.


Nissan aims to export nearly 100,000 units to more than 65 markets in total by 2026, representing the largest coverage for a vehicle produced in Nissan’s Africa, Middle East, India and Oceania region.


 


Bold styling & advanced tech


The Magnite is a striking compact SUV, with robust exterior styling complemented by LED lights front and rear, alloy wheels and roof rails.


Inside, the new Magnite adds a configurable TFT driver display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, for seamless smartphone integration, as well as a wireless smartphone charger. Life-on-board has been enhanced with the addition of four-color adjustable ambient lighting.


Additionally, innovative new features include remote engine start, walk away lock and approach unlock functions, cooled glove box storage, and an on-board air ionizer – ideal for customers with allergies or respiratory conditions.


The updated Magnite features six airbags across all variants and the bodyshell’s integrity is reinforced with the use of reinforced steel and an auto dimming rear view mirror is available.


 


Efficient performance


The Magnite is powered by a turbocharged 1.0-liter engine, offering the optimum balance of fuel economy and responsive performance, which can be paired with either a manual or continuously variable transmission.


 


Ideal for urban mobility


Despite its compact dimensions, the Magnite can accommodate five passengers thanks to its generous wheelbase, making it ideal for urban mobility. This urban focus is enhanced further with the inclusion of Around View Monitor - which generates a bird’s-eye-view of the car from four cameras, ensuring parking in tight spaces is a low-stress exercise.


 


Exports to expand in 2025


The Magnite, launched in December 2020, has established a strong presence in India and has achieved cumulative sales of more than 150,000 units across India and international markets.


Nissan Motor India has until now exported the Magnite to 20 right-hand drive markets. With the launch of the new Magnite, exports will expand to left-hand drive markets, representing more than 45 additional markets beginning in 2025.


With the additional export opportunities available through New Magnite, India will join the UK as a key export hub for Nissan in the Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania (AMIEO) region.


 



Nissan Kicks segue sua trajetória de sucesso com crescimento de 26,6% nas vendas em 2024

RIO DE JANEIRO – O Nissan Kicks continua acelerando forte no mercado brasileiro, demonstrando que sua qualidade de construção e acabamento, além do design moderno e tecnologias, seguem sendo diferenciados para os consumidores do país. Em setembro, o modelo fabricado em Resende (RJ) terminou entre os dez veículos mais vendidos do Brasil, atingindo a marca de 5.792 unidades comercializadas. Assim, no acumulado do ano, o SUV da Nissan chegou a 45.147 unidades vendidas, com um crescimento de 26,6% na comparação com o mesmo período de 2023.

Com a boa procura de clientes PcD pelo Nissan Kicks – que lidera as vendas do segmento no ano –, a versão Active apresentou 133% de crescimento sobre o ano passado. Essa liderança é reforçada também pelo aumento de 70% na versão Sense de um ano para o outro.

Sucesso no Brasil e em toda a América Latina, o desempenho do Nissan Kicks reforça a estratégia da Nissan: o modelo atualmente fabricado em Resende se manterá disponível para os consumidores mesmo com o lançamento da sua segunda geração, previsto para 2025, que surgirá como parte dos investimentos de R$ 2,8 bilhões, anunciados em novembro do ano passado.

Um sucesso brasileiro

Desde o início de sua produção no Brasil, em julho de 2017, mais de 350 mil unidades do Nissan Kicks já saíram no Complexo Industrial de Resende (RJ). Entre elas, a versão mais fabricada é a Advance (36,6% - incluindo carros para exportação). Levando em consideração apenas os modelos produzidos para exportação, a mais fabricada para o mercado argentino é a Advance, enquanto que a Sense/S é a mais enviada para o Paraguai.

Quanto às cores de carroceria, a mais fabricada até agora no Brasil é a na cor branco diamond (29,8% - total que inclui também a carroceria '2-tone' da mesma tonalidade com o teto preto premium), seguida pela cinza grafite (28,3%).

Nissan Group reports 2024 third-quarter U.S. sales

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan Group announced total U.S. third-quarter (July - September) sales for 2024 of 212,068 units, a decrease of 2.2% versus the prior year.

Nissan Division third-quarter 2024 highlights:

  • Sales of the Nissan Z sports car were up 109.3% year-over-year for the quarter.
  • Sales of the Nissan Versa sedan were up 68.1% year-over-year for the quarter.
  • Sales of the Nissan Pathfinder SUV were up 41.4% year-over-year for the quarter.
  • Sales of the Nissan Ariya electric crossover were up 23.3% year-over-year for the quarter.
  • Sales of the Nissan Frontier pickup were up 21.6% year-over-year for the quarter.
  • Sales of the Nissan Sentra sedan were up 9.8% year-over-year for the quarter.
