Nissan Group reports Canadian sales for January 2020

Mississauga, Ont. – Today, the Nissan Group announced total Canadian sales of 7,301 units for January 2020, a decrease of 8.4 per cent year-over-year. The Nissan Division recorded 6,715 vehicles sold in January.
The INFINITI Division reported total Canadian sales of 586 units sold in January.
Nissan Division highlights:

• Nissan Canada's best-selling vehicle, the Rogue crossover, recorded 2,098 units sold in January, representing an increase of 15.8 per cent from 2019.
• The Kicks compact crossover was Nissan's second best-selling vehicle in Canada last month with 1,062 vehicles sold, an increase of 154.7 per cent year-over-year, recording its best January ever.
• The LEAF all-electric vehicle set a January sales record with 282 units sold, an increase of 14.2 per cent versus last year.

INFINITI highlights:

• The QX50 luxury crossover recorded its best January ever with 223 vehicles sold, an increase of 18.0 per cent from 2019. The QX50 was INFINITI's best-selling vehicle in January.
• Sales of the INFINITI Q50 luxury sedan rose to 159 units sold in January, representing an increase of 47.2 per cent year-over-year.
