Nissan Group reports second-quarter 2024 Canadian sales

Mississauga, Ont. – Nissan Group announced total Canadian second quarter (April-June) sales for the calendar year 2024 of 25,478 units, 6.71 per cent down versus the prior year.

The Nissan division reported total Canadian sales of 23,936 vehicles sold in the second quarter, a decrease of 6.41 per cent versus the prior year.

The INFINITI division reported total Canadian sales of 1,542 vehicles sold in the second quarter, a decrease of 11.12 per cent versus the prior year.

Nissan Division second quarter 2024 highlights:

• The Nissan Rogue sold 7,696 units in the second quarter, an increase of 10.7 per cent versus 2023.
• The Nissan Kicks had its best quarter ever with 6,254 units sold in the second quarter, an increase of 58.6 per cent versus the prior year. 
• The Nissan Sentra reported total second quarter sales of 3,614 units, an increase of 7.8 per cent compared to 2023.
• The Nissan ARIYA had its best month ever in May with 318 units sold and best quarter ever with 813 units sold in the second quarter, an increase of 107 per cent versus 2023.

INFINITI Division second quarter 2024 highlights:

• The Q50 sold 231 units in the second quarter, an increase of 86.3 per centversus 2023.
• The QX50 reported total second quarter sales of 202 units in the second quarter, an increase of 34.7 per cent versus 2023.  
• The QX80 sold 250 units in the second quarter, an increase of 38.9 per cent versus the prior year.
